- On November 1, 2024, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) initiated the first anti-dumping sunset review industry injury investigation on mattresses imported from China, examining whether the substantial damage caused by the import of the products in question to the domestic industry of the United States would continue or recur within a reasonable foreseeable period if the current anti-dumping measures were lifted. On November 4, 2024, the US Department of Commerce issued a notice initiating the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into mattresses imported from China. Stakeholders shall register their responses with the US Department of Commerce within 10 days from the date of this announcement. Stakeholders should submit their responses to the U.S. International Trade Commission by December 2, 2024, and provide comments on the adequacy of their responses to the case no later than January 2, 2025.
