On November 12, 2024, the US Department of Commerce issued a notice stating that it had made a final ruling on the third anti-dumping fast sunset review of Steel Wire Garment Hangers imported from China. The ruling stated that if the anti-dumping measures in this case were lifted, it would result in the continuation or recurrence of the 187.25% dumping margin for the Chinese products involved.

On November 14, 2024, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued the latest announcement of Case No. ADC65/2024, making a preliminary positive anti-dumping ruling on polyester filament yarn originating from or imported from China. The preliminary ruling imposed a temporary anti-dumping duty of 2.13% to 20.78% on the products involved, which will take effect from the date of announcement and be valid for four months. The Pakistani tax codes for the products involved are 5402.3300 and 5402.6200. Unless otherwise postponed, the final ruling will be made within 180 days from the date of the preliminary ruling.
